South Boston Female Operating Under Various Influences Crashes on Route 2

A South Boston female was injured when she crashed her vehicle into a guardrail this morning on route 2 in Acton. She was under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

According to the Massachusetts State Police, 43 year-old South Boston resident, Salvila Valdez, crashed her 2005 Jeep Liberty into a guardrail on route 2 Westbound in Acton, at 11:47 a.m. She was injured and was sent to Emerson Hospital and will be summoned to court on a later date for operating a moving vehicle under the influence of drugs and alcohol, a marked lanes violation and negligence of operating a moving vehicle. 

No one else was injured in this case.
