Speeding Teens, Larceny and More from the Acton Police Log

The following was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on April 15:

  • An officer responded to Central Street for a report of a disturbance. A resident reported an ongoing beeping noise starting at 5 a.m. for the past week. Responding officer reported hearing only birds.
  • The manager from the Teen Center reported seeing a suspicious vehicle just after 11 p.m. Responding officers spoke with one person and advised him there was no trespassing on school property. The person's father was also advised.
  • An officer was dispatched to Main Street to take a past larceny report.
  • A Central Street resident reported someone was performing an illegal burn. Responding officer reported person in fact had a permit to burn.
  • A person reported a group of teens in a red sedan came speeding out of Nara Park. Car was gone when officers arrived.
