Stand Up to Stigma at the Scarecrow Festival, October 8-10, at Cucurbit farm.

Stand Up to Stigma at the Scarecrow Festival, October 8-10, at Cucurbit farm, 32 Parker St. in Acton. Proceeds from the scarecrow contest benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Central Middlesex. Columbus Day weekend at the farm will feature over 70 scarecrows, pick your own pumpkin, a farmer selfie station, touch a tractor, farm animals, mini hayrides, kettle corn, and a NAMI information booth. To enter the scarecrow making contest, bring your $25 donation to NAMI to the farm stand and pick up a starter kit. Scarecrows will be on display for the month of October and will wear signs bearing the name of donors willing to stand up to stigma. NAMI is a non-profit organization that supports, educates, and advocates on behalf of families and individuals living with mental illness. More info at namicentralmiddlesex.org or cucurbitfarm.com.
