Stolen Car, Injured Motorists and More From the Acton Police Log

The following was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on March 30-31:

  • An officer responded to Main Street to take an harassment complaint.
  • An officer was dispatched to Hosmer Street for a report of suspicious activity. A caller reported someone offering tree service going door-to-door. Party was gone on arrival.
  • An officer responded to Davis Road for a report of a stolen vehicle. Officer spoke with the reporting party.
  • A person on Wampus Avenue reported seeing someone sitting in a red car drinking alcohol. Responding officer found the car next to a Dumpster, but the car was unoccupied.
  • Officers assisted the Fire Department with an outdoor cooking fire on Concord Road. Homeowner said he would let the fire burn out.
  • A Maple Street resident reported someone stole his bike from his residence.
  • An officer took a larceny report from Parker Street.
