- 50 year old, Robert W. Saraiva, of 4 Rex Lane, Acton, broke into the Acton Community Supper and Food Pantry over the holidays. Caught on the surveillance camera, Saraiva broke into the pantry six separate occasions and stole such items as light bulbs, food, cash and clothing.

- Former co-founder of a fitness and education program for children under the age of seven, Acton resident, Brad Warner, was sentenced to 10 - 12 years in state prison on charges of aggravated rape of a child and indecent assault and battery on a child.

- Stephen DiTullio, 57, of Littleton, former owner of the Gym Nest in Acton, was found guilty in Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn on charges of perjury in connection with his testimony in the case involving Steven Infante, a gymnastics coach, who raped and assaulted a former gymnast.
