1). Acton-Boxborough Concludes Season on the Parquet

• Acton-Boxborough (20-4) fell to the reigning Division 1 Massachusetts champion, Andover (25-1), 57-51, at the TD Bank Garden Friday afternoon.

2). Sacrifice, Trust and Team

• Boys basketball players Sam Longwell and Wes Schroll left their marks on the Acton-Boxborough basketball program.

3). Sports Recap: Acton-Boxborough Football Announces Post-Season Awards

• Five seniors and one junior were named Dual County League All-Stars by the Dual County Large coaches: Mike Duggan, (linebacker) was named Dual County League Defensive Player of the Year; junior Billy Jackman (defensive back); Jake Pilecki (defensive line); Brooks Poulin (defensive line); Kyle Sweeney (running back); and Peter Trombly (linebacker).

• The University of New Hampshire is lucky to have Acton-Boxborough senior and powerhouse player from the lady Colonials basketball team, Elizabeth Belanger.
