Truck Strikes Acton Police Cruiser
A police officer and K9 dog were in the cruiser; they were not hurt.

Acton police said a truck slammed into a police cruiser Monday night.
The crash happened on High Street at about 7:45 p.m. Police said a 2015 Dodge 5000 driven by a Sudbury man was on Parker Street and pulled on to High Street without noticing the cruiser and slammed into the passenger side of the vehicle.
The driver was not hurt. Officer Dan Holway was driving the cruiser; he was treated at Emerson Hospital and released. His K9, Miso, was in the cruiser and was not hurt.

State Police are investigating the crash. They said a preliminary investigation indicated that the truck driver didn’t see the cruiser before pulling onto High Street.
