Two Arrested on Breaking and Entering Charges in Acton

Two suspects were arrested on charges of breaking and entering to commit a felony, the destruction of property and more.

ACTON, MA—Two suspects were arrested by Acton Police on May 25 after allegedly attempting to break in to two local business, Acton Police Deputy Chief Richard Burrows announced Tuesday. 

Police arrested Joshua P. Bucens, 19, of Boxborough on charges of breaking and entering in the night time to commit a felony, destruction of property over $250, attempting to commit a crime and possession of a burglarious instruments. Deokhoon Kim, 19, of Newton was arrested on the same charges, except for the possession of burglarious instruments.

According to Burrows' announcement, witnesses told police that people were kicking and shouldering the rear door of Red White and Brew on Massachusetts Avenue, attempting to gain entry into the building. A witness took photos of the suspects entering a dark grey SUV and driving off, according to the announcement.

Burrows reports that after about an hour and a half, the alarm at Buscemi's Convenience Store was activated, and officers found the front door of the store smashed at the bottom. An officer observed an SUV that matched the description, and arrested the two occupants in the vehicle after conducting an investigation, according to Burrows' announcement.
