Two Arrested on Drug Charges in Acton, $5k Seized

Police also seized over 50 Oxycodone pills after a traffic stop on Rte. 2 Tuesday.

ACTON, MA— Two men were arrested on drug charges in Acton Tuesday after a traffic stop, according to Deputy Police Chief Richard Burrows.

Burrows indicated that officers in the drug unit stopped a vehicle on Rte. 2 for speeding and arrested Ruben B. Solage, 27, of Lunenberg for operating a vehicle after a license suspension, speeding and negligent operation. Police later searched the vehicle based on observations made at the scene, and found over 50 Oxycodone pills and $5,098 in cash.

Solage and passenger Jimmy I. Good, 27, of Leominster were both charged with possession of a class B substance, possession with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate the controlled substance laws.
