Village Subaru raises over $34,000 for Joslin Diabetes Center
Village Subaru of Acton presents Joslin Diabetes Center with a check for $34,000 raised through their annual "Share the Love" event.

Village Subaru of Acton presented Joslin Diabetes Center with a check for over $34,000 raised from Subaru of America’s annual “Share the Love” event, where a set percentage of the sale or lease of a new Subaru in 2015 was donated. Subaru of America Inc. donated nearly $20 million to national and local charities during its 2015 Share the Love event, a record total in the eight-year history of the campaign. Ron Santilli, President of Village Subaru Acton, is not only a supporter of Joslin, but also patient there; his personal connection and appreciation to the center led him to choose it as Subaru Acton’s ‘hometown charity.’
“I have a very personal connection to diabetes; myself and several other family members of mine are patients at Joslin Diabetes Center,” said Village Subaru President, Ron Santilli. “When the opportunity presented itself to give back to such a wonderful organization, one that has had such a positive impact on my life and on the lives of countless others with diabetes, I jumped at the chance.”
