When Do Acton Students Go Back to School?
Wednesday, Sept. 3 is the first day of school for some Acton-Boxborough students. The rest start the next day.
Labor Day is quickly approaching and with it comes the start of school.
The first day of school for Acton-Boxborough students in grades kindergarten through seventh grade and ninth grade is Wed., Sept. 3. The first day of school for students in eighth grade and 10th to 12th grade is Thur., Sept. 4. Find the full school calendar here.
The school system has a new superintendent this year, as Glenn Brand started work July 1. He replaced Stephen Mills, who retired.
