Window Peeping, Snow-Throwing Neighbor and More From the Acton Police Log

A child on Tuttle Drive reported to the Acton Police Department on Jan. 9 that a man was looking through the windows of the home.

The child reported being home alone at about 8:46 a.m. and that the man was seen coming from a yellow van.

The child ran across the street to a neighbor's house as officers responded to the scene.

The child's mother arrived home and took her child to work with her.

In other police news from Jan. 9:

  • Officers were dispatched to Central Street to speak with a resident about stolen decorations. The officer's investigation revealed it was a disagreement about services that were provided and deemed it a civil issue.
  • A Wright Terrace resident reported receiving threatening and harassing emails.
  • A person on Parker Street filed a report of bad checks.
  • Officers responded to Carlisle Road for a complaint about a neighbor throwing snow at cars and saying vulgar things. Both parties were advised of their rights.
