Workshop for Children at the Acton Memorial Library

Recently, members of the Acton Garden Club presented a workshop for children at the Acton Memorial Library. Karen Martin, Jean Lane, Ruth Schemel, Karin Victor and Tanaz Hashemi of the Gardening With Young People Committee demonstrated the basics of how to arrange winter greens using a pleasing combination of textures. Then the children, from ages 7-12, added ribbon and gold, and silver “bling” to enhance their creations. They enjoyed making their winter creations come alive!
