6 Years Later, Andover Murders Still A Mystery
John and Geraldine Magee were found shot to death in their home. One night before, their vehicle was found on fire in Boston.

ANDOVER, MA — Six years ago today, John and Geraldine Magee were found shot to death in their Orchard Crossing home. One night before, their Lexus SUV was found on fire on Prince Street in Boston.
Today, Andover Police Chief Patrick Keefe and Essex County District attorney Jonathan Blodgett are renewing a plea for anyone with information on their murders to come forth.
"Again, we are seeking to reassure the people of Andover and the friends and family of John and Geraldine Magee that the Essex District Attorney's Office and the Andover Police are actively investigating this horrific crime," Blodgett said. "It is our belief that someone knows something that could help us solve the case and bring justice and peace of mind to the Magee family and the residents of Andover."

Dec. 13, 2011, was a routine day for the Magees, according to investigators. John went to visit a construction site in Reading where Magee Construction was building homes. His son John was in the office, located in the basement of his parents' home, until about 4:30 p.m.
Geri had talked to her daughter Holly about watching her grandchildren the so Holly could do some Christmas shopping. Holly was bringing her children over the next morning when she found her parents dead.

The investigation has run numerous interviews with people in Andover and Jupiter, FL, including business associated. Records and property have been searched.
Leads have led investigators to four states and 20 cities and towns in the Greater Boston area.
"Every member of the Andover Police Department remains committed to finding the person or persons responsible for taking the lives of John and Geraldine Magee," Keefe said. "We are asking people to search their memories and consciences and come forward with any information that they may have."
