Andover Baptist Church Holds 9th Annual Unity Event

Monday, January 18, 2016 Andover Baptist Church will host the 9th Annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity Celebration, one of our community’s longstanding cultural events. The event will be held at 7 Central Street, Andover, MA - starting at 11:00 am.

The event will kick-off with a dynamic program that features the Rabbi Howard Mandell of Congregation Beth Israel, Andover as our esteemed keynote speaker. We’ll feature local gospel musical performances and a soul-stirring Oratory performance - all not to be missed. This Years Theme is Drum Majors for Justice! In remembrance that we are all ‘King’s Drum Majors for Justice’ and MUST continue to push the ‘dream’ forward and remain socially conscious - get involved in our communities to help drive Social Justice.

Our Musical guest include:

• Eric Lindahl and the Choral Majority
• Temple Emanuel band, the “Abbas”, led by Cantor Idan Irelander
• Andover Baptist Church Unity Choir
  
• Liturgical Dancers: Ministerio De Danza Adonal
  

The program will be followed by a soul-filling southern style meal served in the Fellowship Hall of Andover Baptist Church ~ all are welcomed.

This event is Open to the Public at “no cost”.
