Andover Coronavirus: 236 Confirmed Cases, Town Updates
The town encouraged residents to answer the call from the Community Tracing Collaborative.
ANDOVER, MA — Andover has 236 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus, as of Tuesday. One hundred three residents have active cases of the virus.
The town also updated residents Monday on the town and state's coronavirus response. The state's four phase reopening plan is set to begin May 18, with limited sectors being allowed to open under strict restrictions. The state may reverse the opening if health metrics worsen.
The town encouraged residents to comply with the public mask order and to cooperate with the Community Tracing Collaborative. The Collaborative reaches out to confirmed coronavirus patients and their contacts, to attempt to slow the spread of the virus. The mask order requires public face coverings for everyone over the age of two, when physical distancing is not possible.
