Andover Garden Club Elects Officers

A new slate of officers will serve during the 2015-2016 club year, though many are familiar faces and long-time volunteers.

During its 2015 annual meeting, the Andover Garden Club elected officers for the 2015-2016 club year. Shown in the photo, left to right, are immediate past president Anne Feeney, program chairs Sandra Clevesy and Barbara Kurth, recording secretary Maria Shapiro, and copresidents Ronnie Haarmann and Linda Carpenter. Not pictured are treasurer Karen Marshall, corresponding secretary Christine Maynard, and directors Angela Zinsmeister and Yvonne Glendon.

Founded in 1927, the Andover Garden Club (www.andovergardenclub.org) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that encourages the study and practice of horticulture, landscape design, and floral design; aids in the beautification of the town of Andover; and helps protect and conserve natural resources. A member of the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, Inc., and National Garden Clubs, Inc., the club provides both financial and hands-on support to a variety of municipal, educational, and environmental organizations throughout the region.
