Andover Town Election Scheduled For June 9
The Select Board voted Monday night to officially set the election day, months after first postponing it.
ANDOVER, MA — The Andover town election is officially scheduled for June 9, after a vote Monday night by the Select Board. The election was initially scheduled for March 24, but was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Town Clerk Austin Simko encouraged voters to vote absentee if possible, and if not to vote during off-peak hours and to bring their own voting utensils.
The town will also have enough writing utensils on hand for every voter who needs them, as well as hand sanitizer for voters and workers. Election workers will wear glove and masks. Plexiglass barriers and six feet of distance will be in place.
