Bad Andover Crash: Part of I-93 Closed
There was a crash in Andover on River Road Wednesday afternoon.
ANDOVER, MA — There was a bad crash in Andover Wednesday afternoon on River Road. The crash happened near the Interstate 93 southbound ramp, which was closed as crews responded to the scene. Part of River Road was also closed.
The crash was reported at about 2:15 p.m. It was immediately unclear if anyone was hurt.
Several crashes were reported across the region Wednesday afternoon as driving rain made roads slippery. The rain was expected to continue through the evening commute and well into Thursday morning before things clear up.
