
Andona, a women-run nonprofit dedicated to supporting youth programs in Andover, is celebrating its 70th anniversary with its beloved annual “Clown Town” carnival, taking place May 15–17 at the park on the corner of Bartlet and Chestnut Streets.
This year’s milestone event, themed “Andona’s 70th Clown Town: Celebrating 70 Years,” will feature three days of family-friendly entertainment, including carnival rides, games, food, live music, and community performances.
Event Schedule:
- Friday, May 15 (6:00 PM – 10:00 PM): Opening night includes carnival rides and entertainment, with performances by the AHS Jazz Band and DJ Jacob Gordon, plus a beer garden hosted by Oak & Iron.
- Saturday, May 16 (10:00 AM – 8:00 PM): A full day of activities including pony rides, yard games, live music, robotics demos, martial arts, and performances from local schools and organizations.
- Sunday, May 17 (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM): Family-focused programming featuring yoga, a sensory-friendly hour (10:00–11:00 AM), a magic show, balloon twisting, and ongoing carnival attractions.
Proceeds from Clown Town directly benefit Andona’s charitable efforts, funding programs that help Andover youth learn, grow, and achieve.
