Andover Garden Club Presents Floral Artist Michael Derouin

The Andover Garden Club will present floral artist and educator Michael Derouin at its November 3, 2026, general meeting. During his 90-minute presentation, Derouin will create five distinct compositions featuring a broad range of floral and foliage materials. Attendees will gain insight into how contrast, structure, and detail work in concert to create compositions that feel both elevated and intentional.

The five arrangements will be raffled off to attendees at the end of the program.

About the Speaker

Michael Derouin’s work is shaped by decades in luxury floral design. He creates refined floral compositions for private clients and offers immersive hands-on instruction to professionals and enthusiasts alike.

For more than two decades, Derouin worked in Greenwich CT, and, after a stint of several years of private design based in Peabody MA, he returned to Connecticut to offer his signature artistry to clients throughout Fairfield County. He was named Floral Designer of the Year by the Connecticut Florist Association for outstanding achievement in floral design

Derouin is accredited by the American Institute of Floral Designers, the American Academy of Floriculture, and the Professional Floral Communicators International.

When, Where, and How

The event will be held at South Church (41 Central Street, Andover MA) on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. It will begin at 10:00 AM with social time and refreshments, followed by a business meeting and the presentation, which will run from approximately 10:45 AM to 12:15 PM.

The public is encouraged to take advantage of this program. A $10 donation is requested of nonmembers. Guests should mention if they are a member of another garden club.
