DCU in Andover To Offer Free Paper Shredding On 10/6/16

Safely and securely destroy your personal documents at DCU in Andover

DCU (Digital Federal Credit Union) will offer free paper shredding to the public on Saturday, October 1st from 9am to 1pm at their Andover Branch located at 209 North Main Street in the Shawsheen Plaza.

DCU has partnered with E.L. Harvey, a professional document destruction company, to proactively fight the battle against identity theft by inviting community residents to shred for free. Two giant paper shredding trucks will be on-site for the public to properly destroy sensitive documents containing personal information, account information, and financial statements that they no longer need.

This event will take place rain or shine. Paper, paper clips, staples, and elastics are acceptable. No plastic binders. In order to accommodate as many guests as possible and offer this as a free service for the community, there is a limit of up to five banker’s boxes (size 24” x 12” x 10 1/4”) or five paper grocery bags (size 12” x 17”) per vehicle.
