Get Organized and Reduce Clutter
Here are some of the upcoming events at Memorial Hall Library.

Popular TV shows like A&E’s “Hoarders” depict the painful lives of people who are unable to part with their belongings. While most of us aren’t suffering to this extreme, many can use tips to reduce clutter and to get more organized. Memorial Hall Library is offering two programs this September to help get you back on track.
Is your stuff taking over and starting to own you? Join us for “Downsizing Your STUFF” on Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. Learn the top ten reasons why our drawers, closets, and garages get filled with STUFF and what you CAN DO about it. This light-hearted, humorous, and helpful talk will be presented by Dave Downs, entertainer, speaker, and retired teacher. Sponsored by the Friends of MHL. Registration required: visit www.mhl.org/eventcalendar, or call 978-623-8401 x31.
Bring a little order into your life with “The Joy of Getting Things Done” on Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. Learn how to use effective systems to make the changes you want to see in your life. Leave with simple tools to add new habits into your daily life, to work more effectively, and to tackle overwhelming projects such as organizing your space. Find out how to meet your goals while staying organized and using your time effectively. To-do lists don’t have to invoke terror! Presented by Linda King, professional life coach. Sponsored by the Friends of MHL. Registration required: visit www.mhl.org/eventcalendar, or call 978-623-8401 x31.
