ANDOVER, MA — Andover residents voted line with the state electorate Tuesday and picked former Vice President Joe Biden as their preferred Democratic presidential candidate. Biden won 3,036 votes, nearly 35 percent, according to unofficial town results. Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren came second with just under 22 percent.

Andover voters gave more support to former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg than voters around the state: In Andover, he earned over 15 percent, which would have qualified him for statewide delegate. Sanders, meanwhile, suffered in the town, landing in third place with just 20 percent.

Statewide, Biden led Sanders 33.5 percent to 26.7 percent, followed by Warren at 21.6 and Bloomberg at 11.7 percent.
