Miss Bev's Dance Classes

Baby Ballet
Ages 20 months-3 years
This age appropriate dance class for toddlers is designed to give even the youngest dancers the opportunity to experience the joy of dance and movement. Some dance basics and techniques will be taught in a shortened, age-appropriate manner. Dancers should wear a leotard, tights, and comfortable shoes of their choice.

Ballet & Tap
Ages 3-12
This class is geared towards individual’s ability. The first twenty minutes is devoted to basic ballet, body movements, and body positions; the second half includes an introduction to tap dancing. Wear a leotard and tights. Students must buy their own black tap shoes.

Performance Dance
Ages 8-12
Students will have the opportunity to experience contemporary/ modern jazz dance as well as smaller group, duet, and trio choreography. To qualify for this class dancers must also be registered for class #390 and have previously performed in a minimum of three of Miss Bev’s DCS performance recitals.

Baton Twirling
Ages 5-12
Class will cover baton twirling basics with an emphasis on fun and learning. Students will develop coordination and rhythmic skills through twirling basics such as rolls, twirls, and basic marching and maneuvering techniques. Majorettes may order batons at first class.
