Methuen Fire: 51 Homeless
A huge fire in Methuen on Ashton Place left dozens homeless; Essex County aid groups have raised over $18,000 for relief efforts.
METHUEN, MA — Donations have poured in for dozens of people left homeless following a fire in Methuen Thursday. The fire broke out at a 21-unit apartment building at 11 Ashton Place. A total of 39 adults and 12 children were displaced.
Various organizations have donated over $18,000 to help those displaced, according to Mayor Stephen Zanni.
