New Career Networking Group at Memorial Hall Library

This is a new group for job searchers.

Are you starting a job search, reentering the workforce, changing careers, or starting a new venture?  is launching a new “Career Networking Group” this September to help.  The group will meet approximately every other week on Thursday mornings from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  Join us on Sept. 1, 15, and 29 in the library’s Memorial Hall for this new free networking group.

Expand your network of business contacts, share ideas with fellow job seekers, learn job search strategies, and learn about tools at Memorial Hall Library to help with your job search.  Topics will vary depending on the group’s needs but may include: writing winning resumes and cover letters, using social media for a job search, what the human resource professional is looking for, and successful interviewing.

The Career Networking Group is facilitated by certified career coach Arleen Bradley. She is the founder/coordinator of the “Pressed for Success” job search networking group at Merrimack College.

As a holistic coach, Bradley is just as concerned for the job searcher as she is about the job search, and takes that into consideration when choosing topics and speakers.  In addition to typical job search tool box items, meeting themes such as physical and mental health issues in a job search may be discussed.

Registration is required only for the first session you attend:  visit www.mhl.org/eventcalendar, or call 978-623-8401 x31 or 32.  The Career Networking Group will be held at Memorial Hall Library, 2 North Main St., Andover.  For more information, visit www.mhl.org, call 978-623-8401, x31 or 32, or text 66746 (start your message with “askmhl”).
