North Reading Woman Killed When Tree Befell Car ID'd

A North Reading woman is dead and a North Reading man seriously injured after a tree crushed a car on Route 125.

One person is dead and another seriously injured after a tree fell onto a vehicle on Route 125 in Andover, State Police said.

The tree befell a 2007 Toyota Camry around 2:15 p.m. on Route 125 northbound by Wildwood Road. The passenger, a 58-year-old North Reading woman, was pronounced dead at Lawrence General Hospital. She was identified Sunday morning as Elizabeth Roszkowski.

The driver, a 58-year-old North Reading man reportedly her husband, was taken to the hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.

Route 125 was closed for about two hours.
