Suspect Wanted on 5 Warrants Arrested in Andover

The man who last month was sought in a manhunt and had five warrants out for his arrest was captured early Monday morning, Andover Police said.

Jose Rivera-DeJesus, 38, was arrested by police in Memorial Circle. He was wanted for a probation violation, assault and battery, and larceny, while also being charged with breaking and entering as a misdemeanor, according to the Eagle-Tribune.

On April 25, State Police helicopters assisted in a nighttime search for Rivera-DeJesus, who was said to be in the area of Phillips Academy. The search was called off after more than an hour.
