Thousands Raised For Meals For Lawrence General Hospital Workers
Fuel The Fight - The Andovers has raised nearly $15,000 to donate meals to workers at local hospitals.

ANDOVER, MA — A local group has raised thousands of dollars to send meals to workers at local hospitals. Fuel The Fight - The Andovers, Inc., part of an international movement of campaigns, has raised $14,941, as of Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.
The campaign has a goal of $30,000. So far it has donated hundreds of meals from dozens of local restaurants.
"Our mission is to help the local restaurants struggling to stay in business during this crisis while supporting the health care workers at Lawrence General Hospital," organizer Kristen Guthrie said in the GoFundMe description.

One of the campaign's most recent donations was 75 meals from Tuscan Market to Lawrence General. Tuscan Market matched the donation with 75 meals to Methuen's Holy Family Hospital, followed by a 150 meal donation to Burlington's Lahey Hospital, Wednesday, according to a news release.
Fuel The Fight - The Andovers is directed by Kristen Guthrie, Carolyn Mcinnis, JoAnn Kalogianis Spaneas and Alice Trudell.
