Arlington Community Education hosts “An Evening with Ambassador R. Nicholas Burns” on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 7:30-9 p.m., in the Arlington High School.

Ambassador Burns is a 27-year career foreign service officer, who has served in the administrations of three U.S. Presidents: George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. He was also Ambassador to Greece and Ambassador to NATO and played a leadership role in U.S. policy in the Middle East. Now a professor of diplomacy and international politics at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, Burns speaks with candor and passion about his position at the forefront of American foreign relations, and host David Whitford, editor-at-large Inc. magazine, will feature active participation by the audience through questions and comments.
