K-12 Students are due back in Arlington schools on Tuesday, Sept. 6, with preschool students returning Sept. 12. Here are ten other important dates on the Arlington public schools calendar that you should be aware of during the first few months of the year.

- Sept. 20: Arlington High School Open House
- Sept. 22: Pierce Curriculum Night
- Sept. 27: Thompson Curriculum Night
- Sept. 28: Bishop Curriculum Night
- Sept. 29: Stratton Curriculum Night.
- Oct. 3: No school, Rosh Hashana
- Oct. 4: Elementary early release
- Oct. 18: All levels early release
- Nov. 1: High school early release 11:15 a.m., Elementary early release 1 p.m., Middle school early release 11:15 a.m. - Afternoon parent conferences
