Arlington Center For the Art's Annual Meeting and Arts Party

Join ACA for this fun, festive, and free one-night event, complete with live music and an amazing array of local artwork!

Join ACA on December 4th, 7:00 pm, for a fun, festive, and free one-night-only arts event, complete with live music and an amazing array of local artwork. Come celebrate the artists, musicians, performers, students and arts supporters who make up Arlington’s vibrant arts community.

In the Gibbs Gallery, ACA’s annual Small Works Holiday Show and Sale will feature artwork that is small in size, but large in impact, just in time for the holiday shopping season. ACA’s Holiday Show is a wonderful opportunity to find one-of-a-kind treasures and support local artists at the same time. Featured artwork includes small framed photos, paintings, prints and mixed media pieces, all perfect for gift-giving. Small Works juror Lorraine Sullivan will present three Juror’s Awards in recognition of outstanding work.

Back by popular demand, The Ways and Means Committee will score the evening’s festivities with their funky and fun blend of acoustic Blues and Americana.

At the heart of the evening will be the presentation of the 2015 Alan McClennen Community Arts Award to Eric Segal, Leland Stein, and Norm McLeod, in recognition of their tremendous work, dedication, and creativity in organizing the A-Town Teen Video Contest, a new annual arts & culture opportunity for teens in Arlington. The Arts Center will also honor a donor and volunteer of the year, and elect new members and officers to the Board of Directors.

ACA’s Annual Meeting and Arts party kicks off at 7:00 at the Arlington Center for the Arts, 41 Foster Street, Arlington. Awards presentation will begin at 7:30. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. More info: www.acarts.org.
