AFC Doctors Express Now Open in Arlington

ARLINGTON, MA — One of the state's largest urgent care facilities opened up its latest location in Arlington on Sept. 9, the company announced.

AFC Doctors Express opened at 1398 Massachusetts Avenue, the former location of Bagelville. According to the company's announcement, the facility will include on-site X-Ray, the ability to provide sutures for small injuries, as well as flu shots and vaccinations.

“In Massachusetts, AFC Doctors Express is projecting well over 200,000 patient visits this year – demonstrating the need for accessible, convenient and affordable care throughout the Commonwealth” said Rick Crews in a statement, who is a co-owner Medvest LLC, the master developer of AFC Doctors Express in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

The company also announced plans to open four more locations in Massachusetts in January 17. The Arlington location is the company's 17th location in the state, with 14 in the greater Boston area.
