1 Person Hospitalized After Tractor Trailer And Car Collide In Arlington

The incident occurred on a busy road Wednesday afternoon.

ARLINGTON, MA — One person was injured after a motor vehicle accident that took place Wednesday afternoon, according to the Arlington Police Department.

Pleasant Street near Route Two was closed shortly before 3 p.m. as police and emergency services responded to the accident involving a tractor-trailer truck and a car. The injured person was transported to the hospital for evaluation. Arlington police told Patch that the extent of the injuries is not currently known.

Traffic was temporarily halted in both directions as the response was carried out. The incident remains under investigation.
