• New School Bus Safety Enforcement Program Coming To Arlington (patch.com) — Arlington is rolling out a camera-based school bus safety enforcement program this school year, allowing police to ticket drivers who illegally pass stopped buses. The initiative, enabled by a recent state law, will use video reviewed by the Arlington Police Traffic Unit, with fines and license penalties aimed at protecting local students and improving driver behavior near school buses.
