The Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra will hold an Open Rehearsal on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church, 630 Mass Ave, Arlington, MA 02476. Registration at 7:00 PM, Rehearsal from 7:30 to 9:45 PM.
Come and enjoy playing music under the baton of music director Orlando Cela! We welcome players of all orchestral instruments who are interested in our upcoming season, and invite you to meet the orchestra, play with us, and discover what it’s like to be part of the Arlington Philharmonic. The orchestra will rehearse music to be performed at the first concert of the season: Saint-Saëns Symphony No. 3, and Bach/Webern Ricercar a 6.

Founded in 1933, the Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra is a vibrant community orchestra bringing musicians of diverse levels and backgrounds together to perform a wide range of classical, contemporary, and newly composed music for audiences throughout Arlington and surrounding communities. The orchestra is part of the Philharmonic Society of Arlington, a non-profit 501(c)(3) community organization which also includes the Arlington Belmont Chorale and the Arlington Belmont Chamber Chorus.
