Animal Complaints, Assaults and an Overdose: Arlington Police Logs

ARLINGTON, MA — Between Monday and Wednesday police noted three incidents occurred in Arlington, including a vandalism incident near the corner of Forest Street and Huntington Road and Shoplifting incident on the 300 Block of Mass Ave, and a theft on Sunnyside Ave, too. But they responded to many many calls.

Tuesday, June 13

Larceny: Police responded to a report of larceny over $250 on Webster Street at 6:22 a.m.

Assault: Someone reported an assault and battery incident on Thorndike Street after 4 p.m.

Wildlife: Someone called police to complain about an animal on Thorndike Street Police took a report just after 11 a.m.

Wednesday, June 14

Disturbance: Someone reported a 'disturbance' on Kenilworth Road.

Dead: Two separate calls came into dispatch reporting a dead animal within minutes of each other, one on Mountain Avenue and the other on Hawthorne Avenue.

Stealing: Someone reported a larceny under $250 on Eastern Avenue.

Assault: Police responded to a report of an assault on Mystic Street around 9:30 p.m.

Overdose: Police responded to a report of an overdose on Freeman Street at 11:05 p.m.
