Arlington Administrator Named as Finalist for Concord Superintendent Position: Report

ARLINGTON, MA — Arlington's Assistant Superintendent Dr. Laura Chesson has been named as a finalist in the search for Concord's open superintendent position, reports the Concord Journal.

Chesson was named among two other finalists, including superintendent/principal Bella Wong of the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional School District; and Dr. Laurie Hunter, the assistant superintendent of the Duxbury Public Schools. The finalists were selected amongst seven resumes picked by parents, teachers and administrators.

The new superintendent will succeed Diana Rigby, who will retire in June. Interviews began Wednesday, and will continue to Friday. They are open to the public.
