Arlington Bakery Makes Nationwide Food Network List
The network recently released its list of the 35 best bread bakeries in the country.
ARLINGTON, MA — A new addition to the Arlington food scene recently caught the Food Network's attention. Breadboard Bakery landed among the network's list of 35 best bread bakeries in America, released March 4.
Breadboard is the brainchild of Daisy Chow, a former engineer who cut her teeth at a pastry shop in Boston before becoming a bread baker at Brookline's Clear Flour Bread. Chow ran Breadboard out of Cutty's sandwich shop in Brookline on the weekends, eventually moving to a brick-and-mortar location in Arlington last fall.
The Food Network praised Chow's sourdough, rye, seeded and raisin pecan, which use 100 percent Maine Grains, and highlighted her Danish rye as a standout.

Breadboard Bakery is located at 203A Broadway, the former Commune Kitchen site in East Arlington.
