Arlington Bank Robbery Suspect Wanted By Police

Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for the person who robbed a local bank Wednesday.

ARLINGTON, MA — Police are looking for a man who robbed an Arlington bank Wednesday morning. The robbery happened at Leader Bank on Massachusetts Avenue around 11:40 a.m., police said.

The man entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. He did not show a weapon, according to police.

The man fled toward Somerville with an undetermined amount of cash.

He is described as a Hispanic or white male, approximately 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie with duct tape over the logo, a black hat and jeans.
