Arlington Beer Garden Proposed

ARLINGTON, MA – A beer garden could be headed to Arlington this year. According to the Arlington Advocate, Somerville-based Aeronaut Brewing Company has proposed a beer garden for Whittemore Park. The beer garden would be open Saturdays from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. during the summer.

The proposal states the beer garden would sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and include a food truck, which would not have the same food as any restaurant within a two-mile radius of the park, the Advocate reported. The garden would have a maximum capacity of 250 people.

The Arlington Select Board will discuss the proposal at its June 11 meeting.
