Arlington Business Being Sold After 23 Years

The Computer Cafe has been a mainstay on Mass. Ave. since 1996, but the business is moving in another direction.

ARLINGTON, MA — A decades-old business on Massachusetts Avenue is on the market. The Computer Cafe is for sale — but the IT company behind the shop, First Class Networks, will remain intact.

The Computer Cafe has provided repair service, computer consulting and computer hardware sales since 1996. Over the past 23 years, it has expanded its services to include IT support for businesses. First Class Networks will focus exclusively on businesses going forward, according to a letter to clients from owner Craig Rabe.

The company will offer proactive and remote monitoring and managing of businesses' computers and network, backup with disaster recovery for servers and data, security monitoring, cloud solutions and a 24/7 help desk, according to Rabe.
