Arlington Catholic Boys' Lacrosse Wallops Whittier Tech, Advances
The Arlington High baseball and Arlington Catholic softball teams open postseason play at home today.

1.) The 18th-seeded Arlington Catholic boys’ lacrosse team trounced No. 15 Whittier Tech 12-1 Wednesday in the first round of the Division 3 East bracket. The Cougars (12-7) advance to face No. 2 Austin Prep (17-2) on the road. No time or date had been set as of Wednesday night.
2.) The eighth-seeded Arlington High baseball team opens postseason play at 4 p.m. today at Spy Pond Field. The Spy Ponders (14-6) host No. 9 Gloucester (12-8) in the first round of the Division 2 North bracket.

3.) The fifth-seeded Arlington Catholic softball team also opens tournament play today, at 3:30 p.m. at Hurd Field. The Cougars (15-5) host No. 12 Winchester (11-7) in the first round of the Division 2 North bracket.
