UPDATED: Arlington Catholic Principal Placed on Leave

Arlington Catholic has not released the reasons for the investigation.

ARLINGTON, MA—A complaint involving Arlington Catholic Principal Stephen Biagioni is under investigation by the school and Biagioni has been placed on leave.

WCVB reported Thursday that the school issued a statement saying they are investigating a complaint involving Biagioni. According to the statement, Vice Principal Linda Butt said the complaint is connected to a situation that may have happened during a Sunday detention at the school.

“As a result of these allegations, the Principal has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation,” wrote Butt in the statement according to WCVB. “We have no reason to believe at this time it involves allegations of sexual abuse.”
