Arlington Clothing, Jewelry Shop To Close In March
The shop has struggled to generate walk-in business during its two years on Mass. Ave.
ARLINGTON, MA — A Mass. Ave. shop selling clothing and jewelry will close at the end of next month. The Muse's Window, which opened in East Arlington less than two years ago, has struggled to generate walk-in business, owner Karin Biow told YourArlington.
Biow faced stiff competition from online retailers and other area discount stores, she told the publication. The shop has not sold enough of its inventory to stay afloat.
The Muse's Window first opened in Lexington 19 years ago, later moving to Concord before settling in a storefront in Arlington. The business is currently holding a clearance sale and will close at the end of March.
