Arlington-Founded Doves And Figs Is Closing

ARLINGTON, MA — An Arlington-founded business specializing in jams is shutting down. Doves and Figs announced the closure in a Facebook post Tuesday.

"It is with much gratitude and a touch of sadness that I am announcing the closing of Doves and Figs," Owner Robin Cohen wrote. "We thank our Jam Fans for supporting this wonderful journey and we know that we could not have done it without you."

Doves and Figs was founded in Arlington in 2011 and opened a production facility and store in North Andover two years ago, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. The company made jams using locally-sourced ingredients.

"Although it was a difficult decision to make; this is the best choice for the business and for my family," Cohen wrote.
