Arlington 'Gastro Gaming Pub' Special Permit Approved
Adventure Pub will next seek select board approval in a few weeks, followed by an expected opening.

ARLINGTON, MA – A "gastro gaming pub" looking to take over the one-time home of Flora on Mass. Ave. has received a key permit from local officials. The Redevelopment Board on Monday approved a special permit allowing a restaurant with entertainment at the location for Adventure Pub.
The owners must next receive approval from the select board at a meeting in approximately three weeks. Its opening is expected to follow shortly after.

Adventure Pub's Facebook page promises a seasonal menu in addition to beer, wine and cocktails, tabletop games and "group Immersive Game and Storytelling experiences." Area restaurant veteran Jason Smith has been hired as executive chef and Adventure Pub's founder and general manager will use her company Incantrix Productions to produce gaming events
"We will have special events that blur the line between Interactive Theatre, Escape Rooms and Live Action Role Play," according to a post on the page.
