Arlington Is Getting A 'Gastro Gaming Pub'

ARLINGTON, MA – A "gastro gaming pub" is moving into a Massachusetts Avenue space that's changed hands several times over the past couple years. Adventure Pub will open at 190 Mass. Ave., the one-time spot of Flora, which closed after 20 years and became French restaurant Bistro Duet for a short stint.

Adventure Pub's Facebook page promises a seasonal menu in addition to beer, wine and cocktails, tabletop games and "group Immersive Game and Storytelling experiences." Area restaurant veteran Jason Smith has been hired as executive chef and Adventure Pub's founder and general manager will use her company Incantrix Productions to produce gaming events.

"We will have special events that blur the line between Interactive Theatre, Escape Rooms and Live Action Role Play," according to a post on the page.

Adventure Pub is expected to open this fall.
