Arlington Grand Jury Indictments: 2 Cases Announced

The Middlesex DA's office on Monday announced indictments handed down between Jan. 18 and March 6.

ARLINGTON, MA – Two cases with ties to Arlington are among the latest round of indictments in Middlesex County. District Attorney Marian Ryan on Monday announced indictments handed down between Jan. 18 and March 6.

Both cases involve Arlington residents who face charges in Cambridge.

Robert Favreau, 18, of Arlington, was charged with possession of a firearm, possession of a large capacity firearm, possession of a large capacity magazine, possession of a loaded firearm, resisting arrest, assault and battery, and failure to stop for police. The Assistant District Attorney is Whitney Williams.

Favreau was arrested in October after he was pulled over on a scooter and allegedly had a loaded, semi-automatic gun in his backpack.

Karl Maurice, 43, of Arlington, was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, subsequent offense, trafficking over 36 grams of cocaine, and being a habitual criminal. The Assistant District Attorney is Caitlin Gemmill.
